'  Booked last minute due to stay on Malapascua cut short due to tropical storm and needing somewhere close to airport to stay for 3 nights. Excellent hotel. We did not leave the hotel but enjoyed the beach and grounds. Pool is large and nice, resort is aimed at entertaining kids as well, but it seems like they keep it separated pretty good. There is a small quiet pool hidden back a little bit which seemed nice but didn't go in. Breakfast buffet was one of the largest I have seen. Excellent...

'I had a lovely stay in The Reef - what a beautiful place! Very nice rooms, fine breakfast, very warm and friendly staff, and very easy access to great snorkeling. One point of attention - when the staff orders a taxi, they automatically order a luxury taxi which is double as expensive as a white taxi. As you need to pay taxis with cash, this can lead to a negative surprise when you are low on cash (for me, on my trip to the airport going back)'
