'The front desk area has been remodeled and looks nice. However, its basically lipstick on a pig. As we walked down the hall, the smell got worse and worse and by the time we got to our room, it full on smelled like dirty kitty litter. When we got in the (1st floor room), the window was open, there were hairs in the bed, there was a bug in the shower, there was some gross splatter on the bathroom wall. I have never checked out of a hotel within minutes of checking in until i got to this hotel.'

'We arrived during a rainstorm so it was nice that there was a bar/restaurant in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bartender/waiter was especially hardworking. The food and drinks were exactly what we ordered. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was that the drain in the tub was slow. Breakfast was good with a nice selection and plentiful coffee.'
