'Firstly, the chalet was very difficult to find. The host only gave us the instruction to check the map outside reception. After having to find a member of bar staff (as reception had closed by the time of our arrival), we were told this map had long been removed. Secondly, the chalet had a mould issue. The cabin had a foul odour throughout of damp. There was mould on the curtains and around fixtures and fittings. Thirdly, the shower did not drain quickly. By the end of your shower, you were up...

'We chose this hotel because we were planning to attend an event at a nearby beach. Unfortunately, the event was cancelled due to bad weather, which was very disappointing. However, staying at this hotel turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a comfortable and welcoming place. The staff were incredibly friendly, almost as if we had known them for years, but never in an intrusive way. They had just the right balance of warmth and friendliness that made us feel completely...

'This hotel has lovely views and great staff, my room was not what it showed on the pics, mattress and pillows very old and uncomfortable and need changing, I had to put towels over my quilt as the room was so cold through the night as they turned the heating off and it was almost zero degrees outside. I can’t fault the staff at all and it was a nice atmosphere but that let it down for me'

'All the staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious with a good choice. We had dinner on one evening and all four of us were more than happy with the quality of the food. We will definitely stay again.'

'Excellent stay. Highly recommend. Stunning setting. Great food (diner and breakfast).'

'The room was perfect. So clean and nicely decorated. Everything you needed there. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend'

'dichtbij winkelgebied, openbaarvervoer,en,binnen loopafstaand van het stad.'

'I found the property to be very clean and well equipped. It was slightly smaller than I expected, but as I was staying alone that wasn't a problem. I believe it would be plenty big enough for a couple. It was a great location for me as I was visiting quite a few sites around the area. I would highly recommend this property and I would very likely stay again.'

'Friendly hotel, helpful staff and great food. I'll be back.'

'The outside tables could do with replacing. Accommodation was good but the bedside lamps didn’t work and toilet roll holder needs replacing. The food was excellent and restaurant is very well presented but the inner door from the conservatory closed with a loud bang that we could hear clearly from our room.'

'Very welcoming on arrival, large clean en-suite room, fabulous breakfast that set us up for the day and special dietary needs catered for. Would visit again. Highly recommended.'

'Lovely room, very spacious and cosy'

'70s charm = hasn't been decorated since then. Shared loos, showers and kitchen facilities. But it was cheap.'

'Great place to stay. Very good room for a single person. Only minus was that the private bathroom was not ensuite, but across the room. (Neighboring 2 other rooms). '

'This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. To top off the delicious food, the chef himself came out to introduce himself afterwards so we were able to learn about where all those ingredients came from (all local and totally fresh). We ended our lovely evening in the bar area which had a great atmosphere and...
