'This was such a wonderful, quiet retreat. The little cottage by a pond was down a rocky, dirt road, with twists and bends that led through the woods. Leigh, the owner, had told me it was rather remote, so I was prepared. The cottage was a bit rustic but comfortable and well stocked, as described. Cell phone and internet services were fine. 'We enjoyed the cottage as it had everything we needed to prepare meals including pots and pans, spices, a lovely kitchen, towels and linens, shampoo and body wash in the shower. We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!'

'We loved our stay on Sheep Island with the family, kids and grandparents. We have been coming to Kezar for years so are familiar with this part of the lake. We were so happy with the property which faces the mountains for great sunsets and views. 'Even though we came up for the eclipse, the stay was very nice! The house was clean and comfortable, the host thought of so many nice touches! We hiked nearby and enjoyed the town of Gorham and the train up Mount Washington. All was very relaxing and a wonderful getaway!'

'We really enjoyed staying at this little cottage. We have been coming to the Jackson area for years, and it was great to find this place that had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the proximity to the Memorial Hospital which we ended up having to visit while we were there. I have never met such nice people at a hospital. Linda was a great host who went over and above what we expected. We will be back again!'

'Great spot to attend a wedding at Autumn Lane. Very close. Very clean and comfy. We had two dogs, so the multiple inner doors helped with keeping them managed and safe as we stepped in and out. Everyone slept well. The electric fireplace was cozy. We loved the thoughtfulness of wine and beer. Our only concern was a lack of microwave safe dishes. Good thing we read labels. Everything else carefully appointed and convenient.'

'Nick and Ariel have a very special place. Their property is a quintessential lakeside camp with everything you need for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the area. The cottage was very clean, had comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen and outdoor grills. We especially loved the screen porch at night and the easy access to Highland Lake. The association neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. We hope to return again next summer.'

Such a calm, peaceful lake to paddle around on, just big enough with no fear of getting lost. 'This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.'

'The resort is an excellent combination of a good apartment for a family of 6 and a resort with you need for a family stay. The kis enjoyed the thinhs they could do, te campfire, the special events, etc. The apartment was of good condition. '
