'Lovely weekend stay with kids. Hotel is new and clean. Great swimming pool. Restaurant and bar quiet but nice service and food. Great area hotel. Only remark is the car chargers are in need of maintenance. 4 on site but only 1 working intermittently. Free though. '

'Gelegen in de White Mountains biedt dit hotel een goeie uitvalsbasis om te verkennen. Onze GPS had wat moeite om het te vinden. Het hotel oogt mooi, ligt 'gevaarlijk' dicht bij een hoge rots. We hadden een kamer met zicht op deze rots. de andere kant ziet de vallei, maar vooral de dennenbomen die het terrein omringen (dus de meerprijs niet waard). Nette kamers die goed onderhouden worden en waar men in sommige met renovaties bezig was. Het onthaal is professioneel. Ontbijt is inbegrepen en is...

'Highly recommend staying at the Colonial Motel if you're going to be in the area. My wife and I wanted a spot close by Mt. Washington so we could hike and then enjoy a nice night before and after said hike. Colonial is a clean and cozy motel and checked off all the boxes we needed. Staff was very friendly and even called us and walked us through the check-in process as we were arriving late. Great location in North Conway, right next to the main street with numerous restaurants and shops close...

Erg gezellig. Bijzonder enthousiast personeel. Je krijgt bij aankomst direct een rondleiding.
Veel zitjes om op een regenachtige dag te verblijven. Bijzonder uitgebreid ontbijt, dat wordt geserveerd.
Vóór het ontbijt is er al thee met wat te eten. 's Middags ook thee met cookies.

"Left with mixed feelings. We were friendly greeted. The room was fantastic. Clean, spacious, excellent bed and shower. The scenery of the lobby and backdrop of the mountains is stunning. We decided to have dinner at the hotel. The staff was very friendly but probably understaffed. It took a very long time to get the order in and adter the first course it took about 30 minutes for the second. We didn’t mind too much but there was a guy sitting next to us who waited equally as long just to make his order. We simply didn’t see any staff for 30 minutes at all. The food was average to be honest. I had their signature burger which was very dry and tough to swallow. The fries very salty. Not great, not bad. Dessert was good on the other hand. There was a mixup with the bill (we got it from another table) so had to walk to the counter. Honest mistake and was solved quickly and friendly. Next morning we decided to checkout first and then stay for brunch. There was nobody at the counter and there was a sign to simply drop the keys so we did. We went over to the breakfast/dinner area. We ordered drinks first which again took a long time time to arrive. You could tell she’d forgot because when she returned to take our food order she noticed we hadn’t received our drinks. The food was okay, and not expensive. I received our invoice during breakfast which stated a weird charge so had to go to the counter to sort that out. It was yet another mistake. Staff is friendly yet many mistakes. "
"Our experience was a mixed bag. Check in was good; the British lady was lovely and friendly. The room was nice and spacious and everything was clean and functional.
However, the floors are made of wood and carry a lot of noise. We had a family with small children staying in the room above ours and it was like a herd of elephants was stomping around up there.
The pool and hot tubs could do with a good scrubbing. The water in the pool was mucky and not very inviting.
All went southways however when the fire alarm sounded a 7 AM in the morning. All the guests left their room and gathered outside but THERE WAS NO STAFF IN SIGHT. No one told us what was going on or what we were supposed to do. When we made a complaint about the poor communication around the fire alarm when we checked out the guy at the counter didn't even bother to look at me. It was a very disappointing ending to what otherwise had been a pretty decent experience. Do better! "
