'We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was simple, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood felt safe, and it was easy to call Uber for rides. LIRR access was also convenient, which made traveling to New York City and Stony Brook very manageable. The highlight was the beautiful backyard, which made the place feel relaxing.'

'Great stay in winter and I'm sure this place is popular for beach access in the summer. I loved the super soft towels and kitchenette. A couple of improvements: -Probably time to change the mattress in Rm 2. It is very misshapen with a large dent where many people have slept. -Weather seal the doors for better energy efficiency and to keep the temp in the room more manageable. '

'The place was simple, clean, good heating and amenities such as fridge, coffee maker (tho only one pod for 2 nite stay. Thin walls so i could hear everything in main house but that was fine. Host was prompt in answers tho i kept getting them in spanish!? Would certainly come again. '

'We had a great stay in Uniondale. Julie and her husband were very accommodating and especially thoughtful since we flew in during a blizzard. The property was exactly as described and perfect for our quick trip to New York. We would definitely consider staying here again!'

'There isn’t a “kitchen” but a minimum amenity was there and that was enough for me. Lots of dining options nearby. A quiet neighborhood and separate entry. Host was very responsive and accommodating. '

The size of the unit was very adequate for two people. Bathroom was clean and adequately stocked with towels and wash cloths.The reason for 2 stars is we thought the apartment was not very clean from floor to ceiling. This apartment has huge potential to be very cute. In my option, it needs an entire over haul.'

'The host were very welcoming and accommodating. The one thing to note is there’s no lockable door to guest between the host and the guest. Other than that it’s a beautiful place to hang out with a comfy bed and couch! '

'The apartment was very clean and well maintaimed. This was the perfect property to stay at over the holidays as I grew up in the area and had many moments of nostalgia going to old restaurants and shops I frequented as a kid. '

'This stay was private and comfortable. Checking in was easy with an electronic lock and the host was very communicative with my questions. 2 things to note are that the walls are thin between this unit and the main house so you can indistinctly hear each other, and the mattress is quite hard, but I know some people prefer that. The bathroom is modern and clean and overall everything was easy. '
