'It’s always nice staying in a historical house in town. The people are super nice and it’s convenient to downtown (not much open on the weekend). The front lobby area is picturesque. Pool looked nice but did not try it. To be fair, it’s a nicely kept historical property with large rooms. It’s not The Plaza. Easy parking. We were very pleased.'

'The place was impeccable. Beautiful horse farm with gorgeous grounds. Lots of treats and snacks available along with wine you could help yourself to. Bath salts for tub and lots of towels provided and dropped off daily. Breakfast was mediocre at best but service was great. Stayed in Landar Room. mattress could probably do with replacing. it was very soft and clearly put its years in.'

'The place was charming. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were horses and other farm animals on the property. Our mattress was a bit on the hard side which we found slightly uncomfortable. We would stay again.'

'Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.'
