Accomodatie was prima, locatie aan de een kant was zeer handig, dichtbij het station en openbaar vervoer.
Aan de andere kant was de omgeving ook minder goed, verschillende momenten voelde ik me niet helemaal veilig.'

'Great place that you won't regret. I will definitely come back if I return to Nice. My only suggestion for the place is that they need to be stricter with kids running around the property. There was a family that had multiple rooms and kids and they would allow the kids to run back and fourth around the rooms at 7 AM. Kids need to run but that early the staff need to step up.'

'Fantastic property with exceptional customer service. Corina is an absolute professional host and makes you feel at home immediately upon arrival. The rooms are very bright, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast is an absolute dream with everything included from fresh fruit, yogurt, meat and cheese board, pastries, omelets, coffee and juice.. you will not leave hungry :) Highly recommend Maison Lamartine! 'The room was smal but for me as solo traveller ok. I liked the design etc. I missed a lobby and the 6 stairs to the 3rd floor were with my luggage a nightmare, I had a heavy suitcase and not 20 anymore ;)'

'The service was amazing. The lady working the front desk went above and beyond to help in loaning me an international electric adapter. The customer provided water and coffee options were nice. Only a 10 min waking distance from old town and the beach. Great value. I recommend to all. '

This has been our 2nd time (first time being in 1996 ) and it has been upgraded from 3 to 4 stars but sadly the room size has shrunk significantly.
I love the old style but thats preference and this hotel is definitely on top form and would certainly satisfies most traveler's needs.
Its a pity that there is no swimming pool as there is definitely space for it.'

'Très bel hostel. Environ 20 min de marche jusqu’au quartier du vieux Nice. Cela ce fait très bien et quartier sécuritaire le soir. Ce qui est vraiment plaisant, c’est l’accessibilité de la gare à environ 5min.
Personnel très accueillant et aidant au besoin. Les chambres sont très propres et très bien équipé pour nous accueillir. Petite armoire dans chaque lit et j’avais un balcon dans ma chambre. Très calme comme hostel.'

"The bathroom was not clean. I had to make them clean the bathroom while I was in the room.
Without mentioning or permission they reserved a deposit on my creditcard. While checking out they did not even mention it or informed that they would release the amount. I still have not received the guarantee amount back (5days later). The hotels I had after this one already released the guarantee (the next day after checking out).
The location is ideal, walking distance from the promenade. They have a good breakfast. Also valet Parking available. "
