'The rooms look very nice and great design. That is the good part. But the rooms lack sound proof, it can be are very noisy with doors closing and other guests in next rooms. Further after check out I needed to get something from my case and called three times the reception at 11:45, no answer. I hurried back to the hotel and was there at 11:50 but it was already closed. No idea when it will be open again but this is terrible service provided. Last time I stayed here.'

'Beautifully finished, styled and even curated hotel with classy attention to small details without an hint of pretentiousness. Food and cocktails in various restaurants beautifully prepared and presented with loving care for detail down to the cutlery and table presentation and served by friendly and well informed staff. Spa and treatments also at a high level with lovely calming and well thought out aestetics. Roman baths a nice alternative take to standard hotel spas . Movement studio also...

'Location excellent. Room was not clean good. Drain in shower was not working. In one mins was floating. 3 days take to fix. Water was leaking from ceiling at midnight. A/C problem. Shot of a/c till fixed next day. Not install grill on a/c and air was flow every where. Next day install the grill. Make pictures of every thing. Will ask Expedia compensation.'

'Maison Lamartine was an excellent stay in Nice. But a short walk to the beach, the property is immaculate. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. The only thing that we regret is we had to take breakfast in a hurry, as we had a train to catch. The breakfast was full of local and fresh pastries, jams, and cheeses. We wish we could have enjoyed a two hour breakfast. The place is top notch and will gladly return.'

'The web site photos make the building look huge and elegant. Not so. It was a very plain hotel in a residential area. The rooms do not have a closet or drawers to unpack your luggage so if you’re planning on staying for multiple days, this makes it a bit difficult. There is a wall area with a few hangers but not a closet. The fan in the bathroom did not work and when I inquired on this, they did not have a solution of the problem.'

'Schone kamer, geen koffie of thee op de kamer en geen ijskast. Ontbijt erg frans en karig. Geen intercontinentale onbijt. Verder een goed hotel. '

'Midden in het centrum van Nice. Om de hoek vind je het oude centrum met gezellige terrasjes en eetgelegenheden. Ook het strand is vlakbij.'
