'This is the fist time ever I book a hotel via hotels.com that is so disappointing. The staff at reception was rude and not helpful at all. No parking and no valet parking either, although they have a bell that says : ring here for a bagagist and valet parking. 'The hotel was difficult to find by car and when we got there the welcome wasn't too joyful. First impressions were complete when we arrived in a small room with a very small and basic bathroom. The hotel had a faded glory feel to it. It then got better, great view from the breakfast room on the top floor, helpful & friendly staff at the bar (which was definitely the place to see and be seen) and towels available for the beach. Left Sanremo with a good feeling.'

'We were in the "Urban" room. Overall the stay was OK, but organizing the check-in was a bit hectic. I was asked to schedule a time, which was fine, and suggested 3pm, which then was unilaterally changed by the guesthouse to 2:30pm "max", which meant I needed to change my train schedule to Sanremo last minute to arrive earlier. 'It was a very good location. Exactly in centrum. Very basic and very small rooms. Calm. Cleanliness was fine. It was nice that there was unlimited water use included. Coffee machine was broken. Consider the fact that there’s no lift in the building and If you have a big luggage with you, you have to carry it up the stairs by yourself for 4 floors. Overall , it’s ok for one day stay. '
