'The Villa Bella Vista was wonderful! The room was spacious and spotless. There were very few other guests so we had the terrace all to ourselves. The view could not be better; a perfect place to watch the sunset and listen to the busker playing in front of the palace. '

'We kregen een electronische toegangscode toegestuurd om de deur te openen van dit verder lege hotel. Niemand voor ontvanst maar 's morgens stond er wel een mooi ontbijtbuffetje klaar. Leuke kamer met terras. Wel enkele lichte sporen van slijtage door gebruik op te merken in de kamer. De 'flush' van de wc maakte bijvoorbeeld lawaai (kabbelend geluid uit het niets, soms beetje lastig 's nachts). '

'Great location and super friendly staff. We appreciated the included breakfast. The room was on the small and dated side but was well cared for. The bathroom was updated with a stand up shower, no tub. Entry was accessible for a stroller and they were very kind about our kiddo.'

'When we arrived at the hotel, we we're received very friendly. The lobby staff gave us a detailed information about the things we could visit and how to get there.
We had a good night sleep in the hotel, because of the comfortable beds and nice and quite environment at night.

'Awesome location. A bit of a walk from downtown Sintra but it had a big public parking lot right next door. We parked the car and walked downtown and to all of the castles. The room was extremely small but it was all we needed. Try "pasta de nata" frim the coffee shop next door......amazing!'

'The room was very spacious and comfortable. The location was absouloutly beatifull, and the breakfast was tasty, generous and fresh. The only critique is that the rooms are right above a main street so ultimatley their was some noise at some points of the night. Overall it was a great stay.'

Everything always looked and smelled clean, check-in was super easy and we had great privacy even though we chose the option with shared bathrooms. The bathrooms were also super clean and nice. Only thing is the kitchen doesn’t really have any utilities - like no cutting knives, grater, sift, blender. It makes it quite hard to cook anything. "Heel mooie en comfortabele kamer en badkamer. Mooi groot en goed bed. Erg mooie inrichting in de stijl van het huis. Excellent ontbijt. Bij aankomst werd ons echter niet gemeld dat de ingang zich naast huisnr 15 bevindt (niet 23 zoals aangegeven) en dat daar ook plek is om de bagage uit te laden.Het was erg druk, dus konden de auto pas ong. 1 km verder parkeren waarna we al onze bagage het hele eind bergop moesten slepen. Werd om 2:30 u wakker wegens luchtgebrek ( ik slaap met apneutoestel). Bleek dat de electriciteit was uitgevallen. Dus geen licht, verwarming, warm water etc.
Echt jammer want de kamer en ontbijt zijn zeker 5 sterren waard."
