When I was checking out, the man at reception offered for me to stay and leave my bags in the room and was happy for me to relax in the room well after checkout and when I was ready to leave for the airport. 'Staff was wonderful. Check in and check out was easy. I could rent a motorbike from them for 250 baht per 24 hrs. Pool was great to have. Once the road at that main intersection is fixed, I'm sure the stay would be easier. I used it as a point to go to different parts of island. Kata beach was nice. Patong was crazy..oversaturated with stores and tourists. The roads along beach and to Big buddha were winding and with uphills and downhills. Be safe. Oh...and right down the street...

'Riktigt bra lägenhet med vänlig personal som hjälpte till med det man kunde tänkas behöva. Lägenheten var rymlig och superbekväm. Snabbt wifi och tyst fast det ligger vid en hårt trafikerad väg.

On-site restaurant serves delicious food. Staff is excellent. Outside showers and restroom great for cleaning up after a day of diving. The property is located away from the noise of the road making for a very relaxing stay. Restaurants and shopping and the pier a very short walk away.'

Only minor point is accessibility to the sea. Although the sea is at 10 m distance from the pool area, the sea is not ok for swimming and snorkeling. Serenity offers almost every day a free taxi to a nearby beach. Distance approx.10 km. If you want to eat outside the resort, there is only one good (Mexican) restaurant nearby. Enough...
