'I liked that this place was outside the downtown area because it felt like a camping trip next to a lake, yet in close proximity to the festivities in downtown Rapid City with all the 4th of July events for the country's 250th celebration. Yes, it's an older property so furniture is "dated" but it's clean and quiet. Staff is always very helpful. 'Hotel and staff were fantastic. Breakfast the next day was horrible. Almost out of food and what they did have they continued to run out of repeatedly and didn’t keep up with the service needs of guests.'

'The trash was not taken out in our room, nor was it cleaned properly. There was no streaming available due to antiquated televisions. The gym and the pool were dirty and had a foul odor.'

'Overall a good stay, although the beds en rooms were noisy. Could hear the people in the room above walking around like the were situated in our room. Location close to main attractions. Breakfast had only a few options but was enough for us. '

'Our kids loved staying here! The loft was a huge hit! We loved that it felt a little secluded even though we were close to everything we wanted to see in the Keystone area. Loved that there was a playground and forest areas for kids to play in and enough space to feel private between cabins. Cabins are also clean and nice looking. The only downside was our TV wouldn't connect to anything and the wifi sucked.'

'Two things are paramount to me for a hotel room. The bed and bathroom. The bed and pillows at the double tree were excellent and I had the best sleep of my trip during the stay in this hotel. All Hiltons should follow the standard of bed and pillow quality that is at this hotel! The bathroom was nice but the water pressure was a bit low. It was also a little bit cramped with the layout but I would not trade the extra room we had in the sleeping area for a bigger bathroom. It simply got...

'We stayed there three nights in two different rooms. One room was cleaned once and the other room was not cleaned at all. On two of the nights the room keys didn't work. We asked for help regarding room cleaning and were told by a frustrated employee (a short, blond lady) who had just come on duty that she didn't have time to deal with the problem. 'Dit hotel is niet aan te bevelen, we hadden er 4 overnachtingen. De kamer werd niet schoongemaakt naar de receptie gegaan wat hier de bedoeling van was, antwoord we moesten de handdoeken en afval buiten zetten. Dan wist het personeel dat ze er nieuwe handdoeken er neer moesten leggen. Maar dat baten niet, we moesten elke dag naar de receptie stampij maken voor onze spullen te krijgen. Maar het bed werd niet opgemaakt. Terwijl ze het wel beloofd hadden om het te doen.'
