Anniversary Trip
The Cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was perfectly described and pictured on the posting. My husband and I loved how quiet and private it was. It was very close to everything in Moorseville and the view cannot be beat. We will definitely be returning! Also, the owners took great care of their cabin and we were able to use everything there. They also responded very quickly to any questions you may have had, but they left everything to where you don’t need to ask questions at all! Thank you guys for sharing with us!

Spring Trip
The cabin was perfect for my husband and I. It was exactly what the description said it would be. Very clean and very relaxing area. It’s not far from stores and restaurants. My husband caught quite a few fish. Thinking of coming back this fall or next spring.

Nice place for small family and dogs
Location was great; lake shore along the entire property mere feet from the house. Also located near the end of a dead-end street so very few cars on the road while walking our dogs. The dock was great, the kayaks fun and the beds were comfortable. This is definitely a cozy place but there is room to move about. Some of the renovations were DIY so it not a 5 star resort. However if you’re looking for a budget friendly and pet friendly place that allows for a lot of fun on the lake, this is your place. Would definitely stay here again

Cozy and convenient cabin
This property worked out very well for our family. We traveled from PA and met up with Our Daughter and Son-in-law traveling from FL. His family lives close by so it was a great location for us. The cabin is very comfortable and convenient. The appliances were all in working order. The cookware and dishes were more than enough for all of our needs. It was nice to not have to pack all of that. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and in the yard. Very quiet setting. I hope to visit again in the future when it is a bit warmer to utilize the lake.

THE CABIN
We always enjoy our stays at the Cabin. It is our go to vacation and have been going twice a year for about 3 years. As seniors it becomes more dificult to travel and the Cabin is within a two hours drive and we can not say enough about Jay. He is always responsive and goes the extra mile

Dream away your troubles on Lake Norman
Situated in the land of mic-mansions, is a beautiful property, just over the bluff are the picturesque water views and this quaint Florida style cinderblock two bedroom open living room kitchen floor plan. Directions and process for getting in and leaving was a breeze. The property was extremely clean and they provided additional cleaning supplies, coffee and other spices. The house was very quiet, warm and comfortable. Nature was just outside a sliding glass door with the water steps away (unlike most of the surrounding properties that are far from the water - so you do not see anyone). The local squirrels, traveling geese and giant channel cat fish that actually make a wake on the lake added to the atmosphere. I would highly reccomend - I really did not want to leave.

Funky fun on the lake
This cottage is on a cul du sac and has a great view. It has everything you need for fun in the lake. We always carry lots of extra provisions while traveling but we didn’t need to use any of it.

Extremely grateful to Sara and her family for staying with us! Our cleaning service had missed a scheduled visit and The Cabin was regretfully not prepared for Sara and her family at the time of check in. She was extremely gracious while we worked to remedy the problem. We had never missed a cleaning for guest check in since the home was listed and we are extremely lucky to have guests like Sara and her family. Sad that you couldn't stay the entire scheduled trip! Please come stay with us again soon.

Nice little cabin on the lake.
Overall, it is a nice little cabin on the lake. pretty private at the end of the long driveway. The house is small but in good shape and was plenty big for our groups needs. The dock was great to keep our boat during our stay and convenient that they had SUPs and kayaks onsite to use. Probably would have been a 5 star rating, but we had an issue contacting the owner at check in. There was not much cell service and it was frustrating, but they apologized and made up for it so with a partial refund so I am only knocking them down to four stars.

Fall Getaway

Loved this location!
The property is just what we needed. Nothing fancy,but had all the ammenities we needed and was close to everything you could want. We like to fish,so the dock was excellent and very nicely constructed! We really liked the park that was only a mile or so away. The host and hostess was easy to get a hold of when needed.

There is nothing fancy about the cabin on the lake but it is clean, comfortable and welcoming. You felt somewhat secluded yet you are only about 15 minutes away from anything you may need. It is a great place to stay while enjoying the lake.

Weekend Getaway
We had a fantastic weekend at The Cabin on the Lake! Communications with the owner were immediate, friendly and super-helpful. The place was clean and well-stocked with all of the necessities. It was a cold and snowy weekend but sitting at the dining room table and looking out the window felt as if we were right on the lake! The neighborhood was peaceful, welcoming and only minutes from all of the conveniences of Mooresville. We certainly look forward to visiting the lake again and this cabin will be right at the top of our search list!

The cabin itself was nice. There were plenty of supplies and the dock was simple amazing. The only issue I had was the size of the bathroom. It was very small, just a little bigger than a cruise ship bathroom. Definitely not wheelchair accessible. Overall we made it work and had a great time.

Lake vacation
As with most of our many rentals, the outdoors was the best part. For us, we would like to see a few changes. Such as the shower. It is very small. We used the lake to bathe more than the shower. The bathroom could use a makeover. The kitchen was very ell equipped along with the out door furniture. We created our own table to dine outside, which we did often. No real closet, as w3 had a month worth of clothes. We made it work.out. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. The stand up boards were great. The dock was great the lake and views were amazing. Everything you needed within 10 minutes away.

It was a relaxing and amazing stay. Communication with the owner was beyond our expectations. Place was clean, comfy and cozy as described. The plus was the availability of kayaks and paddle boards, we have really enjoy everything. Stores and everything you can image are literally at 9 minutes driving. Highly recommended for couples or small families, you won’t regretted.

We visited 8 places over 2 weeks, this is the only place I want to come back to
Oh the serenity!!!!!!!!!! Being totally alone on the lake was the most peace I've had in a long time. We drove around and looked at mansions because an unseasonably cold wind was relentless, putting a damper on water plans. But we binged on Netflix on their big tv on their comfy reclining furniture. There were many smart Costco purchases we noticed along with top-notch argon oil hair products and nice coverlettes. The supplied coffee pods and flavored creamer were appreciated, as were your quality dishes, cutlery and cookwear. We look forward to booking again.
