'J’ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour dans cette chambre et j’y reviendrais lors de mon prochain voyage sur Bordeaux. Tout y était beau et bien pensé dans les moindres détails jusqu’au parapluie à l’entrée et au lisseur pour cheveux dans la salle de bain. Ce fut une très belle expérience.'

'It was our first visit to Bordeaux and Sylvie and Sebastien were so helpful with guiding us how to travel, where to eat and what to see plus what to avoid which is a great help. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day. It showed difference between a hotel and Maison d'hote with the personal welcome.'

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. 'Geen leuke plek om te verblijven. Ja je kan er goed slapen, maar er is veel stijfheid & deftigheid. Daar moet ook maar van houden. Er staat groot hek om heen waar je dmv een pincode in of uit mag. Er slingert overal kinderspeelgoed waarbij je afvraagt of het soms ook dienst doet kindercrèche? Bovendien is de madam des huize niet de allervriendelijkste. '

'Small boutique hotel with very friendly feel. Located about 15-20 mins walk from the old town in a quiet area. There's also a tram stop right outside which will take you to old town in 5 mins. Rooms were clean and tidy and the owner/manager was extremely helpful with local information. '

'Clean, relaxed, next to the modern bridge Pont Jacques, walking distance of Notre Dame of Bordeaux, lovely restaurant and shopping area along the river, very friendly employees and perfect city map with tips for free.'
