'We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent.

'Stayed here for 2 nights. We had room 8. Very large, spacious room. Some updating could be done, however, everything did the job. Pool was good size and had a small area for toddlers. Only complaint we had was the room was very hot. We stayed during the heatwave, so expected warm weather, but the only opening window was in the bathroom, and upon arrival the towel heater in the bathroom was switched on. If traveling with toddlers please check this, because it is extremely hot and can be a burn...
'This is a wonderful boutique property in a very safe area. There is a cafe on the corner and is only 5 mins from the main shopping in Chester with so many options for dining and relaxing. The staff were very welcoming and this was the best hotel stay I can remember. '

Stayed before in the Safari room which has its own jacuzzi bathtub which was brilliant! This time opted for another room as it safari was booked, but the upgrade was great! 'Lovely room, quiet, clean. We were a bit worried when we saw the hotel was on such a busy street, but once we were in our room, we heard absolutely nothing from all the noise outside.
Also, a special shout out to receptionist Cassie, she is an absolute gem. She made us feel extremely welcome and our daughter was totally smitten by her.
