'Netjes, alles voorzien, goed ontbijt'

'erg verouderd en in slechte staat. Personeel was wel vriendelijk. Onduidelijk aangegeven waar je de auto kon parkeren.'

'Very surprised at the cleanliness and tidiness at the property. Staff pleasant and helpful.'

'Zeer nette b en b in een rustige woonwijk.. Eigenaar zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam'

'On arrival the reception was awful with staff unable to access records but their attitude was very off hand towards us. The room was clean but badly set up. For instance, the double bed was only accessible from one side; there was nowhere for storage of cases etc. and the only area to hang clothes was a row of five hooks, three of which overhung the box on which the kettle and cups etc. were kept; the shower cubicle was missing one of its two doors; the sink in the toilet was so restricted by a...

'What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. The owners were very friendly and made me feel most welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. You would never go hungry. The air conditioning was a real bonus, although unfortunately it did drip a little water on the floor. My only other niggles...

'So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!'

'Met our hosts they were very welcoming when we arrived. Our room was very clean and comfortable, our daughter was travelling with us she had a small room next to us. The next morning we had a full English breakfast also cereal and toast if you wanted it. I must mention the back garden like something from a gardening magazine, with a beautiful large pond and water feature.'

'It was a pleasure to stay the night at the Town House, really lovely people and a bonus to chat over breakfast with another guest. A cosy, homely feel and definitely somewhere we'll book again'

'Wonderful period property, all modern conveniences, comfortable beds, luxury bedding, spotlessly clean. Situated just off the high street with secure on site parking, and within walking distance of various eating establishments. Website is easy to use, and informative, covers everything you need to know about the property and local area. Jamie & Gary are fabulous hosts. Highly recommend this establishment.'

'Conveniently located for sight-seeing in Wells, owners were very helpful and friendly, food was exceptionally good, enjoyed our stay and would recommend'

'Very comfy beds and excellent scrambled eggs and smoked trout for breakfast, thank you!'

'The hotel was really a hostel and did not match up with images on their website. We were expecting to be staying in a country house hotel not a youth hostel. The only facility we had was wifi. The room was clean but very basic with no ability to make ourselves a tea or coffee without walking down two flights of very steep steps to the kitchen which was a health and safety nightmare - no idea why they could not have put a tea/ coffee station on the top floor. There was no television...

'This property was clean and well presented'

'Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all.'
