'We were greeted immediately upon entering the hotel. The first thing I noticed was the walkway entrance was spotless. We noticed it was hosed down and scrubbed each morning. What a difference it makes. At any time of day, the receptionist at the front counter greeted us. All too often in the past, the hotel employees AT OTHER HOTELS acted as if it’s a bother to hand you another towel, to answer a question, or to even say hello. The hotel was clean. 'the hotel room wasn't great, but the location is, your right on the main strip, everything is within walking distance, you also get complementary coffee and pastries from the shop next door. The best pastries on the island hands down!! The staff was wonderful. Really more like family, everyone was just so nice. I will bring my family back to the Maddox. we enjoyed it evry much. 'Blufin property was very clean. With it being pet friendly we assumed there would be signs of previous pets, but there was not. Very clean/smelled good. I had read about the proxomity from parking to bungalow but the provided carts were so helpful and really made it a non-issue. The only thing negative I can say is the surrounding space was not very "pet friendly" with it being a lot of sandy, shelly areas with sparse grass, but that is typical for a beachy area.'
