'We stayed at the Washington House Inn for our 31st anniversary and had a wonderful time. We checked in a bit early and had time to attend the wine and cheese social in the gathering room. Our room was very clean and welcoming. Every detail was thought of by the staff. I was even able to get hot tea at 10 pm. There was always an Inn Keeper in the office to help with any questions. 'This is a characterful historic place in the center of beautiful Cedarburg. I had some trepidation that it would be too "historic", but it was extremely comfortable and perfect for what I wanted. The room was snug, understandable given the historic structure, but the shower was huge and spotless. The breakfast was "continental", but with great bakery and quiche in a lovely parlor front room. So much nicer than a typical "chain" hotel.'

'Vrij nieuw hotel zo te zien, alles in prima staat. Lekker ontbijt met voldoende keuze, zwembad was fijn na een lange dag. Dichtbij supermarkten (en dat is in Amerika een attractie op zich :) )en afhaalrestaurants. Kamer was ruim, had keuken met volledige inventaris. Was voor mij prima uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan autorace op Road America. Omgeving is ook mooi, dicht bij een strand en Port Washington is een aanrader.'

'We absolutely loved this hotel. Was close to all restaurants, shopping and a quick walk to the lake. Was clean food in the attached restaurant was great, customer service was wonderful. If I had to complain my only issue would be the rooms by the road are loud. So make sure to ask for a water view.

'The rooms were quite nice, I was disappointed that the restaurant," Moolight Tavern" , in the hotel, was not open on Sunday and Monday.
The lounge area where we ate breakfast was welcoming and fully stocked with excellent breakfast food.
Hopefully they will complete their paln to build an elevator.'

'Quiet & relaxing. The indoor/outdoor pool on Sunday late afternoon was relaxing. I had the pool to myself and enjoyed the inflatable they provided. Clean and spacious room. Worth the extra price over my usual place.'

'All was great except one thing: when the air/fan was blowing, you could smell the cigarette smoke from the unit when smoking was allowed in the room. Otherwise everything was perfect: bed slept well, bathroom was clean, kitchen had what was needed. They do not have an ice machine but the full size fridge allows you to make ice or the check in staff offered to go next door to Holiday inn and get us ice there. Other than the smell, this place was great. '

'I asked to be able to check into my room early, it was no problem. Whwn I got there a hour and a half early, my room was ready. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definately recommend staying there.'

"Friendly persons, clean room and a good breakfast. Very close to a busstop which I only can recommend. For $ 2.00 the bus drives you straight to the center and you just have to put the money in a box near the busdriver. It’s cheaper if you go by car(parking costs)"

"Wat een geweldig hotel. Schoon, plezierig, kunstig, met betrokken en deskundige medewerkers. Schitterende hotelkamer, heerlijke bedden en beddengoed. Zeer schoon, wel helaas douchen in bad - das echt niet meer van deze tijd toch? Speciale shout-out naar barmedewerker Ruben, die blij was om even met ons in het Nederlands te kunnen praten. Jammer dat we maar een nacht verbleven - ik had hier wel langer willen zijn. Na het heerlijke ontbijt nog even met een medewerker gesproken (de manager?) die tips gaf voor twee stops onderweg naar onze volgende bestemming, Minneapolis. Zeer gewaardeerd, leuk gesprek. Ik zou absoluut terugkeren in dit hotel als ik weer in Milwaukee zou verblijven. Top!"
