'Cute apartment! Loved the old building with the new decor. Kitchen was great to have, although utensils on the counter were dusty and the top of fridge. Plants were nice to see. Just to let other renters know there are 32 steps to the second floor. A little hard when you have to park across the street behind the Courthouse with all your things. Town was great! 'Perfectly situated between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Floyd! The host is delightful and the property is a slice of heaven looking out over a quiet meadow! I had my coffee outside watching the barn swallows, biue jays, robins and cardinals mingle with the deer. It was serene! Then just a short drive into Floyd to take in the local flare. The Parkway is close and fun to take a relaxing drive doen yo Mabry mill. All in all a plus 5 on all accounts!'

'It was good place to stay for Parent’s weekend at virginia tech. About 30 minutes from the school. Feels slightly longer due to being in rural area but easy drive. Price was reasonable, beds were very comfortable. It gets very dark, I feel there should be more nightlights and my only issue was the scented detergent or spray on the sheets, we are all allergic to smells so it was a making us sniffy. 'A favorite!! We returned here for a second stay because of the beautiful setting, the amenities that make a perfect haven for a stop-over on a long trip (refrigerator, pool, coffee options). So thankful for close proximity to quick morning hike (or a long one!).'

The host was very responsive and the private garage for residents only was a nice bonus.
