'If you are forced to stay near the airport, then you really don't have too many options. It's the only Airport hotel. The main issue is that Airport is far from everything and therefore no local transportation to look for stores etc and walk around. Just the beautiful gardens. I'm not a big fan of Hiroshima's airport as it is very inconvenient.'

'The hotel was really close to the Ferry Terminal and we were able to drop our bags and head off quickly to see the sites. Restaurants close early on the island so eat around 5-6pm. Staying overnight lets you go up the ropeway at 9am before the day crowds hit (they are substantial). We went over on the JR Ferry and came back on the fast boat to the Hiroshima Peace Park. The Ropeway is excellent. Hotel breakfast is very good. '
