My experience was not pleasant due to the condition of the room.I found mold in the shower and noticeable dirt buildup in areas including the soap holder where there was soap residue that appeared not to have been cleaned for some time.There was dust on the floor hairs and dust behind the doors.I also found eyelashes between the bed sheets.I arrived at the hotel late and was very tired so I did not initially notice these issues.The room smelled clean which gave the impression that it had been properly serviced and I did not inspect it closely at that time.However it later became clear that housekeeping may not be paying close attention to certain areas such as behind doors and it appeared that the bedding may not have been properly changed.When I checked out I informed the front desk associate who was very kind and provided me with the manager’s business card. I spoke with the manager San Barot today.He advised that because I did not book the room directly through the hotel, there was nothing he could do and suggested that I contact you directly.I explained that my intention is not simply to complain but rather to express my concern.As a guest I expect the room to meet basic cleanliness standards especially considering the amount paid.I understand that management cannot personally inspect every room it is important to bring these matters to their attention.Given the condition of the room I do not feel it is fair to pay the full amount charged.I have pics to provide.
