Cottages in Clare

'Very nice little house. Fully equipped for a family stay of few days. Good restaurants and grocery inside of 15 minutes drive. Short drive from Cliff of Moher. Quiet area with nice view of the water. Owner responded quickly to all our questions.'

'Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

'Had a great time in this cottage.'

'Great location'

'Easy distance to castle and amenities. Caroline was a huge help and super friendly. Will book again.'

'The communication was excellent. '

'This is a quaint cottage tucked away in Fanore. We were here for a couple of nights, and found it very suitable for our needs. If we are in the area again, we will choose to stay here.'

'Terrific 360 view of the ocean and the countryside, beautiful home layout and comfort. The owner was very responsive to questions and super easy to work with! We were greeted with some snacks and bread, and coffee, and the instruction book on hand was very thorough. Our two week stay was amazing! We are going back to Sea Mist next year.'

'We had a lovely time! Just prepare for no wi-fi (which we were happy to take a break from). The house is charming and well maintained and my kids loved the yard.'

'Great place to slow down in Ireland back country. I took long walks out various lanes around the cottage with crazy pictorial scenes the entire way. Needed to contact host for a small instruction and was answered promptly. And, easy to Burren and Cliffs of Moher. Hike the Burren!!!'

'This property was described as having five bedrooms and five bathrooms including two en suites upstairs and two downstairs which was perfect for us traveling with our elderly parents thinking they could have the downstairs and we would have the upstairs. When we arrived we found notices on both en suite shower doors upstairs saying they could not be used and a note from the cleaners saying they could not be used along with the kitchen tap which had been completely broken off. We also found the...

'Loved our stay at this property. The location was GREAT, albeit remote. So nice to come back and wind down here!Pros: Location, beautiful kitchen nicely equipped. Fabulous water pressure! Bookshelf stocked with plenty of books/games. Large, comfy rooms.Cons: while the kitchen was nicely stocked, it was missing paper towels which made it difficult to do anything until we got some. Bathrooms had no place to plug in any electrical tools like hairdryers, curling irons, only for shavers. The plugs in...

'Beautiful home with a lovely view. I got a little turned around on my way there and the owner dropped everything and drove to where I was so I could follow him to the right spot. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.'

'The home was clean and airy. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the room for all five of us to find our own space. The farm itself is lovely, and we also enjoyed playing with the dogs and petting the cats. Barbara was warm and welcoming, and she gave us some good tips for visiting a local pub and enjoying some Irish music, as well. It was a great stay!'

'Very peaceful stay and a lovely host who was very quick to respond and very kind.'
