There was the smell of toxic cleaning chemicals in the lobby and the elevators which I found quite offensive. Some of the amenities were misrepresented, not sure if that was by Expedia or by the hotel. The location is quite convenient.'

'Stayed here last night. This is a huge, beautiful historic building. The room we stayed in was updated and bright and very comfortable, huge bathrooms. The butlers were very attentive and friendly bringing ice to our room and giving great directions. Breakfast was delicious, offered choice of sweet or savory breakfast sandwich with salad, or yogurt with fresh berries and granola. Breakfast room was not busy with beautiful surroundings. 'Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The pastries were stale. There was little variety, and to choose from elevators are too dark and need to be brightened up. I can hardly read the number buttons because it is so dark in the elevators. Also, it would help to get rid of the fake plants in the rooms'
