'We had a very good stay. The house was as described and quite clean. The location was perfect! I agree with another review about one of the beds being noisy. A few suggestions: more bath towels and perhaps a binder explaining how to use the Roku TV setup, and internet, and mention nearby activities. We had a very nice time enjoying the views of the lake and saw many birds and bunnies. Thank you.'

'We were looking for somewhere to stay to see the eclipse and this house turned out to be perfect. Sylvan Beach is a great little town and better yet, the restaurants, beach, etc. was all within walking distance of this house. Sal was great about communicating and offered to let us in a few hours before the typical check-in time which was really nice of him. We didn't really cook but the kitchen table was great for puzzles which reminds me that Sal had games and puzzles at the house if you forget...

'This property was a great location as we chased the 2024 Eclipse. This was a large family gathering with all age guests. We enjoyed both indoor activities in the game room and large gathering space/kitchen and outdoor activities sitting by the lake and kayaking. The house was updated and very comfortable.'

Great place, right on the water, with everything done perfect and great location to the school as well ... it was even better than we expected! 'Dealing with our host was great. I had to change dates and he was very helpful. The apartment is large with all things needed to cook. I loved the electric fireplace and huge TV in living room. I was mining so the entrance to hang jackets and boots before entering house was fantastic. Plenty of space to lounge and rest. The kitchen was great to cook. I love eating my own food so this is important. All the stores are literally 5 minutes away so you can buy good to cook everyday so it’s Fresh. I...

'My husband, daughter and I were heading to Sylvan Beach for a surprise birthday party for his grandma and needed a place to stay. This place was perfect. We had a five month old, the place was super clean. It was shockingly warm so we were able to walk to the Pancake House for breakfast and the beach to look at the lake. The hosts was very nice and property manager. If we need to come back for a family visit we will stay there or talk everyone into renting the bigger property.'
