'We loved the Wenns. Which we booked to go see a relative in hospital. We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. We were given great treatment to our little dog who was welcomed into the restaurant area and given special treats. My relatives joined us for dinner after the hospital and were so impressed by the food that they now want to book.'

'This hotel is immaculate, the room, the bathroom and everywhere else. It is really spotless: from the beddings to the towels. The window shutters and carpet are of exceptional quality! Lots of choices of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room! The small fridge and a hairdryer look brand new as well. Brilliant! If you look for a cosy hotel in Norfolk, "The Old Bell" is a sure destination.'

'We stayed in Holly Room at Holly Lodge , it was an amazing experience from start to finish !!! The check was so simple even in the dark at a very late hour Our room and facilities within the room were stunning 😍 The service the following morning was 2nd to none and the food , presentation was perfect and so tasty . The gardens were so pretty , wild but very well maintained. Coedy was so lovely as were all the staff ... i loved the open plan kitchen area ! the little snug was stunning id...

'Easy check in with key box. Stunning is the only word to describe this place. I stay away a lot for work and this is one of the best places I have ever stayed. Clean, beautifully presented, comfy bed and fabulous complementary welcome tray. Honesty bar down stairs and great breakfast. Only one thing I did suggest was soft close for doors as some guests allowed them to bang shut and they are heavy doors. '

'The property is in a small village. Pub next door , but otherwise its a peaceful , quiet area. Wells next to sea is about a 5min drive away. My room was nice, it had a kettle, iron,Ironing board, bathroom was clean and shower hot. The beds were good and the room was clean. There is some parking on site. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was also good. I really enjoyed my stay here.'

De ontbijtzaal was wel wat krapjes voor het aantal aanwezigen en 's avonds laat deed de douche het helaas niet (probleem bleek 's morgens een elektriciteit-stop, was toen wel snel verholpen). 'Both the chord for the window blind and the light in the bathroom had snapped off. You had to be a least 5 foot tall to turn it on. I had to pull the bed out to plug my bedside lamp in. There were not enough electrical points in the room. They were not doing breakfasts either which was disappointing. The overall appearance would be described as tatty especially the bathroom with tatty paint work on the door surrounds and radiator. The shower was good the beds clean and the towels were fresh.'
