'When I went to check in the gentleman at the desk, said I did not have a reservation. Not only did I have a reservation. I had prepaid for it months ago. 'Hotel C.V. Monte do Gozo was, zoals reeds elders beschreven, een prima uitgangspunt voor een bezoek aan Santiago de Compostela. De wandeling naar het centrum/de kathedraal duurde ca. 45 minuten (3,5 kilometer) en gaf je een beetje een pelgrimsgevoel (n.b. we waren nl. met de auto gekomen). De binnenstad is uitstekend te bewandelen en de kaart die we van het hotel kregen, bracht ons bij de belangrijkste plekken. Gelukkig werd in onze mis van 12.00 uur het wierookvat gezwaaid.
