'Our stay was pleasant. The host was polite and helpful. The best part of our stay was the barn animals and cats. Nice layout, just watch your steps inside the house. The floors are uneven. The place just needs a little vacuuming especially the bed sheets. We found a bunch of hairs in the beds. Some blinds were broken. It looked like a dog had chewed up through. Other than that everything was nice.'

'This is a great house with lots of room and the yard/lake were wonderful. We enjoyed the kayaks, hid Easter eggs, orrked on puzzles and played games. Three bedrooms are nice sized and one facing the lake is very large with an lovely tub and separate shower. Kitchen well stocked and open with great views. What more could anyone want? Also the owners we extremely quick to respond, flexible about times of availability and mailed back our charging port. GREAT TRIP!! 😀'

'My husband and I traveled to Athens to visit UGA with our daughter. She spent the weekend with a friend and we stayed in the cottage. It was adorable, clean and quaint. 'Great old and beautiful house. Comfortable beds. Comfortable couch and chairs in living room. Huge kitchen, huge rooms throughout. Nice bathroom. Big yard. Really cool, not used train tracks behind the property that you can see from the yard and porch (and explore on them). Walking distance to all Watkinsville restaurants and taverns. 'At first, it seemed a little small, but it didn’t feel like that once we settled in. My family thoroughly enjoyed waking up and seeing all the animals. We also enjoyed our visit from the big ole polar bear of a dog who was patiently waiting by the porch for some scratches one afternoon. My kids really didn’t want to leave!'

'Great place to stay locally that brings some of remote quiet with easy access to local restaurants and diners. We stayed for a weekend college baseball tournament (less than 10 miles away) and will try to come back next year. 5 stars all around!!!'

'Older home made into a clean, quite modern and charming rental. Well equipped and spacious. Two recommendations. 1. The charger unit in master bedroom on night stand is great but has no available wall plug. 2. The rubber pads on dining table do not stay on. They continued to fall of when moved about. Otherwise, a great rental.'

'There was nothing there had to buy toilet paper, dish soup, no cleaning supplies, no extra towels so had to buy laundry soup to do towels life one for each person for 7 days place was nice but come with nothing then code people showed up to let us know that it was not zoned for short term rental and not up to code it was not accommodating for house hold things but nice location'

'The property has a nice layout and was recently renovated with nice fixtures/decor but overall the quality of the work was horrible which made our stay unpleasant. We let the manager know but the minor fixes weren’t enough to recommend this property. First the AC wasn’t working on the lower level. The weather was hot and it took 2 days/nights to fix. There’s a bad infestation of ants, roaches, centipedes, spiders and other bugs throughout the house. They were everywhere! They need to hire a...

'Good location for attending rehearsal dinner and wedding, while exploring north Georgia around family events. Guests should be aware that house is located on a series of windy, unlit roads and might be an issue driving at night.'
