'Behind the black iron door there is a lovely well equipped cottage. The best thing is that it is right in the middle of Cheadle and at the same time a quite retreat, the best of both. We are not the absolute nature lovers, but made trips tot Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Close enough for a days visit. But we explored the Peak district as well. We did Buxton and Ashbourne and Leek too. We find the cottage very cosy. We didn’t miss a thing. Everything was there, including good Wifi.'

'Had a brilliant few days stay at the cottage, the phrase that comes to mind is home away from home. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Location for us was perfect with the monsal trail on its doorstep, loads of walking trails nearby and not far from Buxton. Really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend, thank you'

'We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. 'This was the perfect place for a long weekend away. The place was incredibly cozy, and provided a lovely place from rest and relaxation. The bathtub is AMAZING and the location was perfect - beautiful views all round, a lovely walk along a river, and a pub! It was nice to not be right in the centre of Bakewell but was still incredibly convenient. Highly recommend!'

'We where welcomed in with a few Essentials like fresh bread, cookies, fresh farmed milk and butter. The hut was very tidy and clean kids loved the farm animals right outside the door. Charlotte (host) let the kids feed the animals, was very quite and we enjoyed our getaway from the hustle and bustle off London city. Best part was the fire pit at night where we all sat down and enjoyed our marshmallows and hot chocolate, was a shame that they ran out off wood log. Will most definitely be visiting...

'Property was very nicely decorated with a cosy feel with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Location was great - nice and rural, but close to Tideswell and Monsel Head. In the couple of days we were there we visited Bakewell, Hathersage and walked Castleton and Mam Tor. We love the area and would certainly stay here again. '
