'We had a fantastic four day stay to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday and my parent's 61st wedding anniversary! Damariscotta Lake holds a special place in our family's hearts as we had a cabin nearby for nearly 30 years. The quiet location on the cove is spectacular and the cabin itself is adorable! Plenty of room for three couples and a teenager! The cabin was well stocked with basic supplies, sheets/towels, cookware, smart tv and internet to make everyone feel at home. 'Very relaxing! Great screened in porch where we spent most of our time if we weren’t fishing or floating in the water. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Very clean. It was a great family vacation! Only negative was there are many big rocks and seaweed in the water. No place to walk in. So kayaking, canoeing and floating are your best choices. Would go back!! '

'Amazing house with plenty of space for our extended family (9 people). Loved the living room, deck and yard for family to spend time together. Kids loved the bedroom with 4 single beds. AC worked great throughout the house during a hot July week. Lake was clean and dock was great for swimming and floating on tubes. Would definitely stay again. '

'This house was perfect for our family trip. We had another family with small children as well and they all had a great time. When we weren’t out at the dock or in the water there were lots of great kids books and games for them to play with and explore. The only “down” side was that while there is an AC cooling unit that you can move around the house itself isn’t. It got somewhat warm during the day but the cool nights helped a lot. 'Lovely updated older home. Excellent kitchens (yes - two!!), comfortable bedrooms, nice bathrooms - one with charming claw foot tub/shower. Very comfortable couch, sitting from and dining area for six. Marvelous screened in porch with ceiling fan. On a dead end street perfect for walking dogs. Close to Damariscotta. Responsive host. Clean charcoal Weber grill. Dishwasher, free laundry machines.'
