'Perfect service! Beautiful lodge, very clean! Safe area. Monkeys stopped by in the morning, so funny to see them so close. The staff Marlene, William and the ladies are wonderful people, the feel like family. Delicious food! They know how to cook!! This was the best stay during our vacation. Marlene gave us good advice about Parque Manual Antonio. Approximately 30 minutes from the parque. Muchas gracias a Tia Marlen, William y a los miembros de la familia! Abrazos!'

'This is a gem of a property in a beautiful mountain setting. The hosts are a wonderful Costa Rican couple who go above and beyond to provide an excellent experience and food. We stayed at about 10 spots while exploring the country in March and Curuba Lodge was one of our favourites. We can't wait to return.'

'Katia and her staff were welcoming and friendly. Katia wears many hats as host/owner, chef, bartender and more. And she excels at it all! They work hard to accommodate any and all reasonable requests. The views from our room, the rooftop and pool areas were beautiful! Rooms were clean and a very nice size. 'It was amazing seeing all the different birds from their restaurant patio. I saw way more kinds of birds including two tucans from here than from the actual birds watching tours. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice city view too. '

'Prepare to be swept away! My recent stay at this boutique luxury hotel was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of tranquility and pampered luxury. The rooms are an absolute dream – spotlessly clean and boasting a sleek, modern design. Having a private kitchen was such a treat. And the river views!
