Lodges in Costa Rica

'The staff were all professional, friendly, and extremely nice. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is very ample. The food is all really good. I have stayed here before, and would stay again, it is one of our favorite places near Arenal and La Fortuna.'

'Paradisiac place. Top service. Surely a “must go” in Costa Rica!'

'Geen airco maar een fan. En deze werkte prima. '

'Ideal for those who want serenity in a tranquil environment. The view of Arenal Volcano and the surrounding areas along with the sounds of the birds and the inhabitants makes Sangregado Lodge an ideal place for nature lovers. The staff was'

'Clean rooms the whole property was clean, food was good, front desk and waiter staff was exceptional, kid friendly and everything was easily accessible'

Zwembad was oké.

'Fijne lokatie, mooi uitzicht, erg aardige medewerkers'

'Een prachtig uitzicht en mooie kamers'

'Not so sure this place will stay a hidden gem for long but whatever…If you looking for the most serene & private lil spot. You won’t be disappointed. Leave all the lil nick naks at home cause you won’t need it. Extensive detail to amenities & toiletries. It’s not massive and that’s the point! Leave the lil ones at home, only you and the hubby… your welcome.'

'Clean hotel, friendly staff, parking in front. City center of Sant Elena within walking distance. Highly recommended. '

Inchecken ging soepel. Ontbijt is heerlijk!

Also went to the natural pool and waterfall - beautiful and cool! The garden, the ocean view from every spot, and the natural and simple wooden rooms - all was a great scene for nature. Dishes of the hotel restaurant (lunch/dinner), not cheap but very tasty. The only thing we missed is an umbrella (which was a must in any other hotel this time...

'Leuke kamer met uitzicht. Prima bed. '

'Clean room, great breakfast, excellent staff. We loved the property'

'If you enjoy stained sheets, insects in your room, sleepless nights due to unbearable heat and noisy neighbors — this is the place for you. Out of the three “tours” included in the package, two were completely misleading: one was just a walk around the property, and the other was a 2km walk into town. The only real activity, watching turtles on the beach (just 20 meters away), cost an extra $50 — a complete rip-off. The price-to-quality ratio is completely off. Save your money and stay...
