'When you see that this VRBO has such high ratings, there is a reason. It was fabulous! The property is as beautiful as the pictures. You are tucked into the jungle, but within walking distance to a grocery store, roadside market, restaurants, and the beach. The walking path to the beach is even magical. 'The place is gorgeous and the owner and his in house staff were very very on point. They was one major factor that needs to be addressed. There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. 'My husband and I stayed at villa #2 for 5 nights. It was just as described on the listing (large and spacious) in a very quite area just minutes from Cahuita. Mornings were spent hiking trails in nearby parks. Afternoons were spent by the pool watching whatever was hanging around in the trees surrounding lovely outdoor area: monkeys, macaws, toucans, etc.We will stay here again the next time we're in the area.Ellie '

'I loved this place. We had a great stay. A few things to note: all rooms face the outside. Like a motel. Kitchens/living rooms are outside too. Mosquitos everywhere. To be expected but best to prepare ahead of time. Pool was nice to have. It was hard to keep steps clean because they were outside but they were very clean when we got there.
