They obviously read reviews and pay attention as there is now a full length mirror 💜 Seeing the peacocks roaming free in the beautiful grounds always made me smile. Would definitely recommend as a fan base to explore Cornwall from.'

'We liked the central location, it was clean, that it has fridge and waterkettle with coffee and tea. The shower is buttonoperated, which is watersaving, but inconvenient; the soap dispenser did not work. Only one bedside table was available.'

The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and prepared with so much care – definitely one of the highlights of my stay. 'We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books.
