We certainly had reservations on the drive to the property—it is truly rural, down a long dirt road that you have to convince yourself is the right one. But it is!
Our group had 20+ people and ranged in age from one year to 91 (almost 92) years! The house never felt over-crowded (we did have one trailer as well) and we especially loved having enough room in the dining area for us all to eat together.
The property is beautiful and nature's amenities are worth the drive. The bigger swimming hole is a little trek but so fun, especially for the kids. The smaller water area is shallow enough to be considered a wading pool at this point, and was everyone's favorite spot to hang out. There were multiple areas with beautiful wildflowers, and lots of great roaming space for the kids where they stayed within eyesight.
We worried about draining the solar-powered battery but never did. We were extra careful, though, which became somewhat of a stressor for the older individuals. Something that we did not know beforehand: the water is on a timer of sorts that must be set each morning. Not a huge deal, but something to know ahead of time.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The kids especially loved it—one 10-year-old said it was as fun as Disney World, and they all enjoyed the freedom of the property. We had plenty of room, beautiful views, and attentive owners on the property to help with anything we needed. And NO ONE missed screens! That's a win in and of itself.
