We've stayed in many rentals and not all of them are cozy enough to want to come back to after a long day of hiking, but this was. 'The stay in the Wild Horse Tipi was everything I expected, and more. The bathrooms were far better than anything I expected to have access to, and were very clean. The host was easy to communicate with, and always available. I will return for another stay, and recommend anyone wishing the tipi experience to try the Lone Mountain Resort!'

'Great place to stay inside gated area and with access to beach via staircase. Only thing that would have made it better would have been a keurig. They did have coffee available using a method I was not familiar with - which was explained to me on arrival, but by the next morning I wasn't sure of the steps and just went without. Gorgeous property overall and there was no beating the beach access as there was no public access to the beach and seemed to only be accessed by people staying nearby....

'The camper is very nice and comes with all the basics you need for a short stay. The camper is well maintained and the bed is very comfortable. The laundry is a shared facility in the campground (which does not have a coin/change maker and the machines only accepts quarters). The camper is located in the closest site to the river and has unobstructed views of the river- definitely the nicest site in the park. The town does not have a lot to offer. 'Our stay in the cabins was absolutely wonderful. The campground was very clean and quiet, and Christopher was extremely kind and helpful every time we needed him. The swimming pond was the highlight of the trip for our two nine-year old girls.'
