'It was really special to experience a fisherman’s cottage in a genuine fishing village. Could not have been better than in the home of Cullen Skink. As you would imagine it’s very compact and very homely. It was lovely to listen to the ocean at night and see all the bird life. You aren’t very far from the ocean even if you’re not in the front row. It’s clean, warm and comfortable. Could do with a cheese grater.'

'Property was as described and as remembered (it was my granny’s old cottage!) . The welcome pack of goodies was a nice surprise. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated with a cozy homely feel. I especially loved the fluffy white towels provided! I was put in touch with Debbie after I booked and she was great at communicating before, during and after the stay. I booked through Hotels.com but it’s a Sykes cottage and due to this Sykes wouldn’t let me amend any details through their app...

'The place was perfect for what we needed. The house is ideal for a couple and 2 kids. We only needed one room but the place has everything you could want for a long stay. The host was great and has thought of everything you might be looking for while visiting the town of Portsoy. On my next visit I'll definitely check back in to see if it's available.'

'Such an amazing apartment. Nice and clean with all that we needed. The apartment is in an excellent location to the beach and to local shops and restaurants. Great as you can get to the other key locations and attractions as well. The hosts were amazing and kept in constant contact to ensure everything was nice and smooth. Would highly recommend this apartment.'
