'Poorly maintained, master bedroom door handle was on top of the cupboard and the shower hose leaks. Not enough electrical sockets to provide power to laptop and lights. Furniture was a bit uncomfortable. Bed was very squeaky. Overall adequate for its purposes and met expectations. Wifi details provided were incorrect, but its on the hub so managed. TV was only usable with youtube as its the only service available that didn't require signing in. No live digital channels available. ...

'The most beautiful and most unique property to explore this part of the country. Margaret and Malcolm, as always, were so welcoming and provide top class accommodation with the most stunning views. Tiffy, our dog, was made most welcome with a lovely bed and treat bag. Such a safe and protected space for her. Will definitely be back for our third visit! '

'There were issues with obtaining the checkin details in a timely manner. Property only superficially clean set in a not very pleasant location with an appalling access road. The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age.'

'The place is super quaint and clean. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Not a lot in town to eat, the one pub was not recommended, so be sure to plan meals accordingly. Easy drive to train station. Parking was limited and a bit far away.'

'Caravan was comfortable and was OK for the couple of nights we stayed However some half used items of food had been left in the fridge and the furnishings were a little worn. Caravan and bed were creaky although this was mainly down to the high winds the weekend we were there.'

'Stayed here a couple of times and as usual it was great, the standards have never dropped over the years something some so called bespoke hotels could learn from. It was clean with some nice touches 5 minute walk from train station into the heart of Glasgow. Check in was simple and easy, plenty of off street parking. Would highly recommend.'
