Negatief: Netheid, personeel en service en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Not sure how this place has so many good reviews.
From the moment we walked in, it was one problem after another.
The room reeked of mildew, the bathroom floor was filthy, the toilet was backed up, and the shower wouldn’t drain—nothing like standing in ankle-deep dirty water after spending 9 hours at the State Fair. To make matters worse, the comforter had a red “juice” stain on it. Absolutely disgusting.
The walls are paper thin—we could clearly hear dogs fighting across the hall. When my daughter asked for an extra blanket because the room was freezing, we were told flat out: “We don’t have extras.” Unacceptable.
Breakfast was advertised until 10am on Saturday, but when we arrived at 9:05, we were told nothing would be restocked because “it needed to end at 9.” So much for the posted hours.
Yes, there’s construction, but that’s no excuse for basic cleaning and customer service being ignored. When we brought these issues up to not one but two different staff members, we were completely blown off.
This hotel failed on every level—cleanliness, comfort, service, and honesty. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.
