The home is located in the center of DFW, nearby by the Airport, shopping center, restaurants and Toyota Music Factory l. Just Miles away from Golf/ Las Colinas, River walk so nice. The Neighboor hood is nice and opposite to the new luxury community.

Great neighborhood/functional rental

We choose this VRBO property based on location, being single level for an elderly guest, and the accommodations working for our fluctuating group size. Based on those needs, this property worked great for us. The owner was very responsive to the couple of issues we experienced (cleaning crew missed a few trash items outside the house and the dishwasher needed to be connected properly) It is not a high end or fancy property....very basic but functional. Cannot beat the price for the neighborhood. Owner does allow for parties (at least at the time of our booking), so that could be a plus or a minus, depending on what you need it for.

House was not clean when we arrived

When my group arrived at the house it was obvious it had not been cleaned. All the beds were not made and the kitchen counters were dirty and food was still in the fridge. I called the owner immediately. It took him a little bit to answer but he finally did after calling several times and messaging. He told me that he did not see my reservation on his calendar. He then found the reservation and stated he would send someone to clean “in the next couple hours” and would REFUND the cleaning fee. Luckily we did not plan on being at the house since we were attending a sporting event. He said he would call me once the cleaning was completed. I messaged and told him the conditions of the beds. It looked like someone had rolled in all of them with spray tan all over their body. I also asked for check out time to be extended. I called him after a few hours since I did not hear from him and he said the cleaning was complete and stated once again he would refund the cleaning fee. He said we could check out any time so I know he was reading the messages. I asked him when I would be refunded and he said it should be the next day. I did receive the refund the next day BUT it was not the full cleaning fee and and was less than half. If he was only going to refund a certain amount he should have stated that. He said several times he would refund the cleaning fee so to me that means the full amount. I tried to call and message to resolve the issue but no response.

New renovated home with flaws

Home looks good through the pictures but definitely has a few flaws i.e. cold water in the shower does not work, bathroom door not lock, empty beer bottles in the backyard, trash from previous guest and lack of pest control.

Adequate

There were a few problems. Finally found the coffee cups in the dishwasher. The smell was awful, musty like it had been closed for days after running. When we pulled out the lower drawer the whole dishwasher tilted forward like it had not really been installed properly. Could not find any dishwasher soap so we ran it again with just water. We were surprised that the yard had not been cared for. It was just weeds. On the other hand, the 4 bedrooms were enough for us. The sheets were clean. The tv had lots of apps but we could only use them if we put in our own passwords from home. We didn’t do that. The host was very nice and allowed us to get back in to retrieve the pillows I left behind. I would probably choose a different house next time.
