'The converted jail was such an interesting and unique place to stay. The property is beautiful, the house and room were clean and inviting, and the cell block was a great place to hang out and explore. We loved morning coffee on the balcony and the fabulous whirlpool tub for relaxing. Make sure to check out the incredible food at the local Algerian restaurant, and a lovely river walk, or explore the four story antique mall in town!'

'4 girlfriends stayed one night for a birthday celebration. House description was accurate. Host responded quickly. Very clean. Loved the extras that were provided, coffee, tea and some snacks. The massage chair was awesome! It was too cold to use the hot tub, but it was only 410 feet away from a cute Irish Bar which has good food and drinks.The house isn't in the prettiest of neighborhoods, but once you step inside this diamond in the rough, it was worth it.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is incredibly spacious, offers fantastic activities, and features an excellent location. If you are planning a trip to Backbone State Park, this home is perfect, as it is just a short drive from the park entrance.However, we did notice a few details regarding the sleeping arrangements:Master Bedroom: The mattress is comfortable but the frame is quite squeaky. A single quiet sleeper will be fine, but multiple people may find their sleep...

'I held my bachelor party there. We dressed up in old western outlaw attire and had a great time. The vibe of the house was perfect, while still providing modern amenities. Great kitchen and dining area for hosting a group. We all got our own room/beds. Perfect place and all went smoothly!!'
