'Amazing! Me and my fiancée Steph came to stay for one night after having done our food tasting at the Talbooth Restaurant for our wedding. Amazing food, staff were really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast to the room in the morning was a nice touch and having the ability to be driven from place to place with their car was very helpful. The spa was lovely and all round we had a great stay and experience. Would stay again and again!!'

'Carpet in my room was dirty. Staff were unable to help with a taxi. Breakfast was 15 minutes late starting which caused large queue.'

'Long wait at check in. Airco downstairs, but room hot and no airco. Check out time 11.00. But at 10.30 they said we had 10 minutes. Airco unit of downstairs next to room window…. Unbelievable. A lot of noise. Awfull service of front desk. Mostly not occupied and you have to call an outside number with your cell. Best hotel of Colchester. What a Joke. '
