  • Welkom bij CAMP SASQUATCH! Deze blokhut is opgezet met comfort in gedachten. Hoofdniveau heeft 2 slaapkamers met Queen bedden, gedeelde complete badkamer, (was) bovenste niveau master met koning en een eigen complete badkamer. Kelder heeft half bad en 2 Queen BUNK bedden. (Zie foto's) Keuken en wasruimte bevinden zich ook op het hoogste niveau. Keuken heeft alle grote apparaten en een uitgebreide selectie van kleine apparaten, waaronder Franse pers, keurig, broodrooster, mixer, crockpot, koekenpan etc. Flatscreen-tv's op de begane grond familiekamer, master suite en lager niveau alle werken met vuur stok's. House heeft een draagbare Mifi-apparaat voor internet. Slaap 8 en gasten zijn welkom om bontbaby's mee te nemen voor een vergoeding van $ 50 per pup. Gasten hebben toegang tot de gemeenschappelijke voorzieningen, waaronder een zwembad, een fitnesscentrum, (op loopafstand) clubhuis (speelkamer met pooltafel), tennisbaan, waterfietsen, drie vijvers om te vissen, kamperen, wandelpaden, speeltuin, kapel en nog veel meer! Perfecte locatie voor alle evenementen in de omgeving van North Wilkesboro en Merle Fest tot Blowing Rock voor de altijd heerlijke concerten in het park! Appalachian University is net op de weg ongeveer 10 mijl, samen met alle winkels, restaurants, lokale ambachtslieden, de sites en geluiden van King St in Boone. Plaatselijke skigebieden zijn App Ski Mountain, Sugar Mtn, Beech Mtn. Bezoek Hawks Nest voor wat zip-voering of pak die lekkere snacks en ga aan de rivier zitten met een glas wijn van een van onze favoriete plekken, Grandfather Vineyards. Lokale brouwerijen zijn er in overvloed, sommige van onze favorieten zijn AMB, Booneshine en Molly Chompers, ga edelsteenwinning voor je volgende robijn of smaragd en neem de familie en vrienden mee naar Tweetsie voor wat western wranglin-plezier! Beddengoed wordt verstrekt in het huis voor alle gasten. Wasmachine en droger op hoofdniveau. Garage wordt beschouwd als eigenaarskast en vergrendeld. Vierwielaandrijving is niet nodig voor deze eigenschap. Grind oprit voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Primaire ingang is achterom voor het minste aantal trappen, er is een combo op de onderste deur van het huis en de bovenste achterdeur in de keuken voor toegang voor gasten. Gas open haard, propaan grill.

Our family had a fantastic getaway weekend in this cabin. The facilities were great. We swam in the pool and enjoyed the trails. Kitchen was well equipped and property manager was super punctual communicating. Check-in and check-out were super smooth. No problem finding our cabin. A+ stay and highly recommend.

Great trip

Everything was there with nice little touches as well. We had three generations and we all enjoyed it. Remote area but still not too far from things to do. We didn’t have much snow but that’s always a toss up.

Beautiful house, great mountain community

Our family and our friends family came for a quick little getaway before the kids started school. This house was perfect! Clean, unbelievably well stocked with everything, tons of space, and an amazing setting. We love coming to visit Powderhorn mountain, the community has so much for kids to do and this house was perfect, very close to the clubhouse, trails, ponds, playground etc.. we saw a ton of wildlife from wild Turkey, to tons of deer, squirrels, rabbits etc. We will definitely stay here our next trip through if it’s available.

Exceeded Expectations

If you are looking for a wonderful house off the grid then this is your place. It’s about 15 minutes from civilization in a gated community that is a kids and hikers paradise. The house is warm and spacious. Perfect for 6 adults and 2-4 kids. The porch is huge with a charcoal and propane grill. It’s a 5 minute walk to a pond with paddle boats and the clubhouse that has amenities that I used daily. The property has walking and hiking trail everywhere. The property contact (Susan) was fantastic and readily available. I’d 100% stay there again.

We have stayed in PHM before and were excited to come back. Plus I love how organized Moonlight is. They kept me updated and informed throughout the stay. This house is set up really well. The kitchen is well stocked, the giant porch was amazing, and beds comfy! The driveway is STEEP and the house is at a busier intersection but convenient to access. We loved being able to walk to the paddle boats, clubhouse, and pool! We didn't even have to leave the entire time due to enjoying the views, nature trails, campground, and pool. We can't waitbto return!

Best vacation ever!

This home was beautifully situated in the mountains. There were hiking trails nearby with views and waterfalls that were breathtaking. It was a perfect fit for our family. Our dog also loved how pet friendly it was. He loved the trails and the dog toys just waiting there for him. The clubhouse was just a short walk and my kids loved the game room. The only thing my kids wished it had was a hot tub. Also the grill was almost out of propane which made it hard to grill, but everything else was amazing! Perfect for families!

Camp Sasquatch is Awesome!

Did Everything to Make our Stay Excellent

From beginning to end, Susan Chaney, property manager, worked with us to insure we had everything we needed for a well stocked holiday. The house was spotless. Dog bowls and beds were provided for our pets. All the sinks had liquid soap. Beach towels were provided in addition to dish towels, bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. We even had makeup washcloths! Paper products, dishwasher tabs and a well equipped kitchen made it easy to avoid holiday crowds at the grocery stores. The house is near the children’s park, lake and pool. Plus the house has lots of puzzled and games. Nearby hiking trails and the large yard made it easy to walk the dogs. The porch and deck were nice as was the grill. We had a great time. This is a really cute house.
