'It was a mostly clean room. My only complaint was the floors were not swept or cleaned, but I did not complain and ask them to come sweep, which I am sure they would have. I killed at least 10 flies, but the cleaners usually leave the door open while cleaning them. '

'I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

'Peaceful, friendly down-home vibe unlike any other. Homey, safe, family feel in every way. Love what the ‘new’ owners are doing to improve and honor the traditions of this very historic retreat. The only thing we didn't like was the long walk to the elevator and then to our car, but there is probably nothing you can do about that. We should remember to send one with the luggage out front and one to bring the car around. We'll be back.'
