Welcome to the best little Creekside cabin around. Enjoy that morning coffee while listening to the trickle of our little creek. The house has one flight of stairs to the main level and all rooms are on this level. 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath along with open concept living room and kitchen. Sleeping arrangements are bedroom with queen, bedroom with 2 twins, and queen sleeper sofa. Outdoor seating for 6, propane grill. Interior gas fireplace, tennis rackets,basketball, and frisbee’s provided for guest use. This house does have central heat and air. Lower level screened in porch and outside wood burning fireplace with twinkle lights by the creek!

This house is the absolute getaway for the entire family. PS2 for play and watching DVD’s. A selection of DVD’s and games are provided. There also is an old school free standing arcade game! Rain or shine, plenty to do here!

Located in the gated community of Powder Horn Mountain. Renters have access to the outdoor community pool during the summer months as well as hiking trails, clubhouse, fitness center, tennis, campground, fishing, paddle boating, disk golf course and more. The house is a great getaway, located just a few hours from Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Raleigh. The house comes with all your linens as well as a roll of toilet paper and paper towels. The kitchen is very well equipped with full size gas range and oven, dishwasher, fridge, small appliances like drip coffee maker and a Keurig, blender, toaster, microwave, knives, mixing bowls, cookie sheets, pots and pans, measuring cups and spoons, dinner ware for adults and kids! We do recommend stopping at the grocery store before arrival. Closest grocery store to the community is at the top of Elk Creek Rd, Food Lion.

Just minutes to Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, High County festivals, Fly Fishing, Blue Ridge Mountains, Appalachian Trail,Wineries, Breweries, Appalachian State Football! Shopping and local restaurants galore! Ski resorts are about 45 mins away but only 18 -25 miles. Banner Elk and Blowing Rock will be about 45 mins. Tweetsie 35 mins. For baby gear we do have a local provider you can rent from and that info is included in your initial email correspondence pdf. Groceries can be delivered to your house with 24 hour notice. We usually have folks order from Lowes foods for pick up around 2pm the day of check in. There is a fee for this service.

The campground in the community is a great place for an outside firepit and smore’s. It sits on laurel creek and is the main starting point for many of our famous hiking trails like the Blue Hole. There are charcoal grills down there as well. We recommend if the pool is busy to go check out the swimming spots on the river at the campground. Absolutely gorgeous! We look forward to having you!
