'Extremely nice Bed & Breakfast, they serve a very nice breakfast with the staff being very nice and accommodating. The property is located one block from the street car service, once we parked the car in the secured parking area never needed to move it until we checked out. The free parking is great, leaves more in the budget for having fun. Recommend this property to anyone and would stay there again in a heartbeat.'

'Since I'm not form New Orleans, I don't actually know what a true New Orleans feel is. But this gorgeous mansion seems like the real deal. My room ("the Bayou Suite) was huge. More important, the owners are good people you can trust. The breakfast coffee, eggs, bacon, and fruit are delicious and fresh. The home is not in a tourist area, which is why I chose it. If you want tourist stuff like shopping, restaurants, and bars within walking distances, you migjt want to pay more and go elsewhere....

'I’ve never stayed in such an old house so I wasn’t expecting the toilets to be so sensitive and the water pressure to be pretty non existent. The shower water went off a few times while we were showering. But I’d recommend replacing the shower curtains. They weren’t that clean. The house was nice and the garden area was pretty. Loved having an off street parking spot. The house worked great for our friends and family!'

She’s attentive, punctual, friendly, funny and totally on top of everything that’s going on in the area. I know that I will be staying there again on my next visit to New Orleans. '

'8 of us stayed here for a long weekend. The 3 bedrooms were all nice and each of them was big enough for a couple. The loft above is spacious, but the steps to get to it are a bit steep and can be challenging for some. The location is convenient and close enough to enjoy the area, but far enough to get quiet sleep. Domingo and Natasha were great hosts and communicated consistently throughout our stay!'

'You can't beat this location! Just a few doors down from Frenchman street, you can hear the music all night - yes that includes after you want to go to sleep - so make sure to pack your earplugs. The space was cute and nicely maintained. Little touches all around that make you feel like you are staying in a "home" not just four walls.'

'The Okra Inn was a great festival house for our group 7. Some of us ran up and down the stairs (all of the bedrooms were upstairs) and some of us climbed the stairs slowly . . . Every morning we gathered around the roomy island/bar to have fun cooking breakfast and COFFEE TOGETHER. These original NOLA houses have some stories to tell and the Okra Inn was intriguing in that way. It was colorful, clean, and comfortable, especially the rocking chairs on the front porch. 'I stayed for 3 nights at the Avenue Plaza resort. The hotel is convenient located at St. Charles Avenue. The St. Charles streetcar stops right in front of the hotel. The room was large and beautiful decorated. Everything was clean, although there was no daily cleaning. It was a bit difficult to sleep because the airconditioning was very noisy and couldn't be turned off. There was also a room for ice and laundry right next to my room and this door was constantly opened and closed, even during the...
