'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. 'We had a 2 night stay over the weekend at Loyd Hall Plantation. We stayed in the Magnolia... The cottage was very clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of towles, hand towels and wash cloths. We were asked if we needed anything, which we did not. There was Bidy wash, soap, shampoos, conditioners and lotion in the restroom if any was needed. Plenty of coffee, creamer and sugar.
