'Stayed 2 nights. It was a smooth in/out process, cabin (houseboat) was clean, well-stocked, and quite cozy! The back porch bayou view was really nice.'

'Didn’t put bags down and did not stay. Left without requesting refund -that bad. Staff left property so left a note saying we were not staying. Room lighting was so dark it felt like an alleyway. Smelly, broken AC, insects flying around, no signal on tv. And that was enough to leave. Added note: it’s been years since staying here so the expectation was that it was decent coming in from out of town and seeing it listed on hotels.com. I lost my cash reward but it was worth not waking up with...

'The TV did not work'

'Host is so easy to get in touch with and willing to answer any questions. Houseboat was clean, supplied and spacious. We had one couple and two singles and there was plenty of room. Bedrooms were clean, beds comfortable and sheets clean. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.'

'This was a great setup. We plan to come back next year maybe twice. Fishing was ok but the place was great. Good boat ramp and boat stall with cleaning tables. Lived it all'

'My stay at Wingate was extremely comfortable. The staff assisted me with respect. Room was clean and breakfast was consistent w/ your usual eggs, sausage, potatoes, and waffles. Some days had grits or oatmeal other than that. Everyone was helpful and courteous.'

'Very clean, quiet, curtious staff.'

'It was a little outdated and the bed was not comfortable at all, pillows were many different sizes and not that comfy as well house keeping made the bed but didn’t change the sheets.'
