Not good for sleeping
The Staffs are very kind and helpful. The room's air is not good. I have to let the window open or let the air conditioner on. However, if I open the window, the mosquitos come in. If I let the air conditioner on, it's too loud for me to get into sleep. The internet of the hotel is super fast--about 5MB/s download speed, faster than any hotel I have ever stayed. That was really a big surprise.

I trusted Travelocity and got bit. I should have stopped and checked out the facility. The clerk, Debbie, did a great job, but she seemed to be working against a tide. Our room was to be a nonsmoking room. It smelled of cigarette smoke. The window sill had ashes on it. Debbie was kind and she came and tried to spray the room with some kind of freshener. My clothes smelled like smoke the next day. I don't think I'll be trusting Travelocity for a hotel room anytime soon.

Pay the extra for somewhere else!!
I would NEVER stay again. They treat 3rd party reservations terrible. I requested a first floor,handicap accessible 2 queen beds. I was staying there with my mother who is in a wheelchair. I got a 3rd floor, non- accessible 2 full beds, even after explaining to the guy at the desk what I needed. At least they had an elevator, but my mom had to struggle and walk to the bathroom from her chair, thank God she could do that. When I tried to talk to the front desk the next morning all she said was "blame Hotels.com Not our fault." When I said I would review the hotel and tell people, all she said was go ahaid....so here I am!!

I paid ahead for extended stay and didn't check in until about 6 am, hung do not disturb sign on door, but they were knocking on my door at 11:00 am anyway! Desk staff was great though

When I checked in to a Super 8 motel in Rosevill I was told of a fifty dollar fee that I wasn't told about when I resvered my room online. Debbie asked for my licenese and fifty dollars which would be returned to me when I checked out the next day. So I gave her a fifty dollar bill. The next morning when I checked out there was no money to be returned to me. So I asked when could I speak to her manager.Debbie said he would be in at 2pm . I got there after 2pm and spoke to her then I asked if the tape could be looked at. The she said her manager would be in the next day in the morning. I called three times and spoke to Debbie she said her manage looked at the tape and said he could see a drivers license and a credit card. Now I never used my credit card at all so how could he see it if It wasn't there. and the room smelled musty had to open a window for a little while.I will never sleep at Super 8 again and will pass what happened to others. so it won't happen to them.

Our stay was short but comfortable. We had decided to stay a second night which I booked through the hotel itself. When we checked in, I was told we needed to check out the next morning and check back in immediately. The next morning I forgot completely that I was to do that. Debbie, the assistant manager went to bat for us and told the manager we would surely be back. She took a lot of heat for us and I really appreciate it. We could have gotten back to the hotel that night to find our stuff out on the street, but no, Debbie took care that that didn't happen. Thank-you again Debbie.

Hotel was staffed by wonderful people, breakfast was so-so but coffee was hot and other customers were nice. Will not book through Hotels.com again, found out I could have gotten better rate dealing with hotel directly.

This is a 2 star hotel as described in the other reviews. It needs an upgrade for sure. Breakfast is very limited no fresh fruits or dairy. Lighting is very poor hotel hallways and rooms needed more light. Staff were nice no complaints. For a clean place to sleep it works. Hotel and rooms smelled of smoke even though it is all non-smoking hotel. You won't find flat screens or HD TV's at this place.

Excellent Hotel with great Customer Service!
The Hotel workers were extremely helpful and caring. I had to stay here for a surgery I had and all the workers we encountered ask me everyday how I was feeling. Also, the price is extremely well. No other hotel came close to competing with the price. Would definitely stay here again.

Poor conditions: RM 110 has Bed Bugs. I had to throw away and clean 200 worth of merchandise, no kidding! Very Dissatisfied.

I will never stay at his hotel EVER AGAIN!
We were checked in with out any problems, the clerk was great. Day 2 I asked for extra pillows, we only had 2 standard per bed and no seating. Instead of pillows I received harrassment. I was then harrassed over my family visiting me and my kids in the room and continually watched as people came and went from my room. They even removed the only chair in the room and placed it in the hall by the elevator for my remaining time there. I stayed 4 nights and wished I had gone to the hotel across the street instead. I will never stay at this hotel again and urge you to find a different place to go. There are plenty of hotels in the area that will take better care of your needs. Service, cleanliness, and comfort was beyond desirable. Thank you hotel.com for taking care of me during this horrible stay over Christmas.

The breakfast is only served from 6 to 9.....so if your not a earlier riser dont expect the breakfast. We had a do not desirb on the room but the maid knocked on the door anyways until we answered...... which i couldnt understand him so i dont even know why he woke me up. You can also hear them vacuum in the morning....annoying.

Had to ask for the phone to be turned on even though I left a deposit. No clock in the room, no Kleenex in the room. Reservation was for 3 adults, only 2 each of towels & wash clothes. No one at the front desk each time I was there ( 4 different occasions). Breakfast was a joke. Dirty towel from previous guest left hanging in washroom. Room was quiet (but likely because there were few guests).

Close to the hospital
I rented the room to be close to my mother who was having surgery at St John's Medical Center. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room. You get what you pay for and I wanted a clean room to sleep in at night as I stayed at the hospital all day. I wasn't nervous about coming back at night. There was a Meijers not too far away to pick things up as needed. The only computer was broken but the wireless worked great. I would stay again if needed.

It was very nice to walk into a clean room and it not smell like an old ash tray. Being a Head housekeeper for a cabin rental company in Gatlinburg, TN, I was very please with the cleanliness and I didnt even have to clean the bathroom before we used it. The breakfast needs to be refilled more often but other than that, it was good.

Quite dumpy even for a Super* motel. Carpet was damp near bed closest to air conditioner. I told the desk clerk. She said that was impossible, but yet it was true. The night clerk was going to charge me a $100 security deposit, and then said my wife and I looked okay. Is this standard policy?

Rundown and dingy
The elevator being broken and our being on the third floor was the least of our worries. First the hotel demanded a security deposit of $100 even though the room was booked and paid for in advance. Then he implied there was only one room left... Well, I should hope there was a room left since we were just checking in! The beds were old and squishy, the pillows the worst I have encountered. There was black hair in the tub and black mould/mildew in the shower. Our room, was a "non-smoking" room, meaning it was THAT day at least. It reeked of stale smoke, and there were burn marks in the bedding, curtains, and the microwave and fridge. The only decent thing. Can say is that the sheets were clean. NOT up to usual Super 8 standards. Will never stay here again.

The stinkiest hotel ever
This hotel bills as being non-smoking, but that must have been a recent change. It smelled to high heaven and they just gave us oder reducing spray. We bought an air freshener for our room and it helped a bunch. The hotel is run down. Carpets are old and nasty and haven't been cleaned in forever. Bedding was clean but had cigarette burns, as did the curtains. The AC blew awesomely cool air. Beds were uncomfortable and pillows super tiny and ancient. The room was only stocked with three sets of towels and we had 4 people in our room. Cleaning people tried hard, but until the owner sinks some cash into this place it is nearly a dump. Breakfast was sparse, but acceptable. People manned the front desk sporadically and sometimes hid out in the back room. We won't be back to this hotel.

Staff needs training
The night staff was very unprepared. the couldn't find my reservation. Then wanted me to pay for the room again in cash because he didn't know how to use a credit card reader. I then had to wait 2 hours for a manager to so up. To top it off they gave us the wrong room I wanted 2 doubles he gave me a King. Checking in was a train wreck, but everything else was ok.

It's alright for what it's worth
It was ok for what it's worth. I was possed to have a non-smoking room but elevators, hallway and my room smelled like smoke. everything was clean and when I got there it was a older caucasian lady who was a WONDERFUL help! Everyone else just seems to do what they have to do because it's their job. It's close by sams a gas station and other little shopping areas and a couple of food areas down the street. I didn't like the fact that I needed $10 cash to use an iron and you had to give cash in order to use that iron. Also they put a $50 hold on your account in reference to your room. they don't charge you but they get your information just in case if you break or damamge anythin. Overal it was ok. first time in Roseville/Detroit also.
