'We were visiting from the Midwest (Missouri) and upon arriving we learned our room would not have an ocean view and I asked the young man at the reception desk if he could find us a room with a good view, since we don't have the chance to be at the beach very often. He gave us a room with a fantastic view, on the top floor. 'This was the sketchiest motel I’ve ever stepped foot in, couldn’t get in the door, was broken, when we did we turned around and walked out. It smelled like cigarette smoke and drug smoke, the blanket and pillows were disgusting and didn’t want to sit on the bed and there were questionable people right outside our door watching us. It didn’t feel safe whatsoever or clean and we were charged $160 for a $30 motel. Staff seemed aware and was very helpful with getting us an immediate refund.'

'For what we paid for 2 nights the room should have been clean. Pillowcases and aheets for the pullout bed on the couch were stained. Hair on bathroom floor, dust/dirt around toilet and baseboards. Ibuprofen on the ground near the foot of the couch. Staff was nice and helpful, and it’s cool to be right on the bay front.'
